Organized in December of 1957 The Troopers have gathered in just about every major drum and bugle corps title over the past decade. The uniforms are authentic reproductions of uniforms worn by the Troopers of the 11th Ohio Calvary. Research included drawings made by Frederic Remington, famous western painter. Casper Collins, for whom the town of Casper is named, was a member of the 11th Ohio “Horse Soldiers” when they were stationed there in the 1860’s. This year, the Troopers Repertoire includes: Intro and Fantasia, Gentle On my mind, A Night On Bald Mountain. The Virginian, No Goodbyes and Promised Land. The Corps Director is Jim Jones. Bugle Instructor is John Aanestad. Drum Instructor is Bill Schutters and the M&M Instructor is Jim Jones.
