From Chicago/Milwaukee
- From Chicago, take I-94 west to Milwaukee.
- Once in Milwaukee, take I-43 north toward Green Bay.
- On the other side of Green Bay, exit I-43 onto US-41 north.
- About 10 mi. north on US-41, bear to the left and take the exit for US-141 north.
- Continue north on US-141 through Lena, Coleman, and Pound until you reach Crivitz.
- In Crivitz, you're about half an hour away--there's a McDonald's if you need it! :)
- Stay on US-141 north through Wausaukee and Amberg.
- Look for "Northland" sign between Amberg and Beecher, Wisconsin.
- Turn west onto County L.
- Follow County L to Pike Plains Rd.
- Turn left onto Pike Plains Rd.
- Follow Pike Plains Rd. to the Northland entrance on your lefthand side.
From Minneapolis
- Take I-94 east out of the Twin Cities and into Wisconsin.
- At exit #52 (just before Eau Claire), take WI-29 east toward Chippewa Falls.
- Stay on WI-29 through Chippewa Falls and continue to Wausau.
- In Wausau, take US-51 north and stay on it to US-8 (a major intersection).
- Proceed east on US-8 (be careful NOT to take Business US-8 in Rhinelander; turn before the city).
- Keep heading east on US-8 (watch the signs in Crandon) and go through Dunbar.
- Look for "Northland next right" sign after coming through Dunbar, Wisconsin.
- Turn right onto Lily Lake Rd.
- Follow Lily Lake Rd to Pike Plains Rd.
- Turn left on Pike Plains Rd.
- Follow Pike Plains Rd. to the Northland entrance on the righthand side.
From Detroit
- Take I-75 north through MI and across the Mackinac Bridge.
- In St. Ignace, go west on US-2 through Michigan's Upper Peninsula (enjoy the view!).
- At Escanaba, MI, you are just over an hour away (make one last quick "pit stop").
- In Norway, MI, turn left (west) on US-8 (also called Brown St. and it's a little obscure).
- Continue west (although it's more south) on US-8 until you reach the "T" into US-141.
- Turn left (south) on US-141 and begin looking for the Northland sign after Beecher, WI.
- Turn west onto County L.
- Follow County L to Pike Plains Rd.
- Turn left onto Pike Plains Rd.
- Follow Pike Plains Rd. to the Northland entrance on your lefthand side.
