We say farewell to our assistant coach

Linda Chastain, Assistant Coach

Linda was an age group swimmer growing up. After swimming as an age group swimmer she went on to swim two years at Appalachian State University. She held the positions of the Aquatics Director and Assistant Coach for the Goldsboro Family YMCA for five years. For the past four years she has coached the Charles B. Aycock High School Swim Team. She is currently running the Insectary at Bayer GIC in Clayton, North Carolina as her full time job. Linda has three children. All of her children at some point have swum for the Wilson Barracuda Swim Team. Linda has a desire to see children excel in all of their goals and aspirations, and is an advocate for people of all ages learning the basic fundamentals of swimming for safety precautions.
