Our Ministries

Nursery Ministry

Children from birth to 3 years of age are invited to join us. They will enjoy Bible stories, songs, and activities. We are available during all worship services and the Sunday School hour.

Children's Ministry

Offers weekly, monthly, and quarterly events for children of all ages up through 5th grade. Each event is filled with games, activities, crafts, and studies that will help them develop a great relationship with Jesus. The children have Sunday morning classes starting at 9:15 a.m., and the Wednesday ministry at 6:00 p.m.

Youth Ministry

Youth ages 6th through 12th grade are welcome to attend Sunday School and Wednesday Youth Worship in the Shed. We offer our teens a chance to worship God through Bible study, peer discussions, games, and fellowship.

College Ministry

The College Ministry seeks to serve the needs of students for Spiritual growth, fellowship, and service. College students meet with our adult classes for Sunday School at 9:15am. We have plenty of opportunities for students to serve in the various ministries of the church.

Men's Ministry

Each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., we have a Men's Bible Study. We also have a monthly men's fellowship breakfast.

Women's Ministry

Our focus is the study of God's word, and our ministry provides a way for women to get plugged into the fellowship of other ladies here at MHBC. We seek to unite women together to glorify God. We will do this by gleaning insight from God’s Word, praying together, holding each other accountable, and lifting one another up in love.

Ladies Night Out

Ladies of all ages gather on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. for a great time of fun and fellowship. Each month, hostesses prepare a great meal. After a short devotion, we work together on mission projects, fun crafts, or other monthly projects.

Young at Heart

Enjoy great fellowship at our meetings at 11:30 a.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Men and women age 55 and up are invited to join us in a potluck lunch followed by a program which includes enlightening speakers and/or special music. Each month is something different and rewarding!

Deacons

Our deacons serve by helping with the needs and cares of our members. Each week, two men serve as Deacons of the Week. Please refer to the current church bulletin or call the church office at 254-939-1835.

Music Ministry

At MHBC, we love to lift our voices in praise to God together. We intentionally choose each song according to whether it is biblically accurate, theologically rich, God-centered, and helpful for building up the church. We sing both old and new hymns and praise songs.

Library

We have a growing library of books and movies to serve our congregation in pursuing Christ. Come by the library and find good resources for all ages.
