Parents

Dear Parents,

One of the most important tasks for any parent is to dedicate themselves to developing in the hearts of their children a love for God, a hunger for learning, and a desire to fellowship with God’s people. When that wonderful day of high school graduation becomes a reality, our job is not yet finished. In fact, the challenges of parenting in many cases demand a greater deal of wisdom and participation and vigilance on behalf of our young adult children. For many, blessings for years to come depend largely on what parents counsel, and in some cases, insist their children do after high school. That said, while there are great post high school choices for every student to consider, from military to entry-level workforce employment to community college or a Christian institution, our specially-designed one year program at WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute is a strategy worth investigating. After one year at WalkRight, students are immersed with bible truths and leadership principles with the opportunity to develop their personal lives, direct their vocational choices, deepen their ministry commitment, and strengthen their core convictions.

Is there any one that cares more for a young adult more than his parents? In most cases, that is very unlikely. At the same time, Christian college campuses, especially at WalkRight Institute, administrators, professors and student life, partner with both parents and students to provide a safe, meaningful, conservative environment where constructive independence can be encouraged and nurtured.

Everyone needs at least one year of dedicated ministry and leadership training at a Christian Institute or College. WalkRight as an option, is both affordable and different. There are many choices for young adults to pursue, but parents can further participate in responsible parenting by suggesting a look at WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute.
