Core Values

#1: Local Church

We believe in the authority and importance of the local church and the pastoral leadership which oversees it. We were never established to replace the church, nor do we possess autonomy over any individual local assembly. We desire to be a help to the church in ministering to your young people. We seek to elevate and enhance a love for the church in every student.

#2: Evangelism

Our goal is that each person will hear a clear and understandable presentation of the gospel. We also believe that as Christians we are commanded to be fishers of men; therefore, each student will be challenged to reach others with the gospel of Christ. Students are taught the importance of soul-winning and are placed in situations where thy can lead others to Christ. Our full-time staff is involved in evangelistic ministries through their local churches in addition to their ministries at the camp and institute.

#3: Standards

We are committed to maintain conservative standards that reflect Biblical values in regard to music, appearance, dating relationships, speech, and conduct. We reinforce patriotism, godliness, respect, and courtesy in our program.

#4: Service

We desire to convey a spirit of helpfulness in the smallest of ways to each of our students and guests. That means our commitment involves courteous and helpful service to you and your family. If we can help you by demonstrating a servant’s heart, it is our promise to go the “extra mile” to meet your needs. It is our privilege to serve you.

#5: Relationships

It is important to develop meaningful friendships with those that have chosen to make WalkRight Bible Institute a regular part of their lives. As part of the WalkRight family, we will do everything we can to express appreciation to those who serve, volunteer, send students, or choose to support this ministry. Our many church ministry friends and community neighbors are welcome to enjoy the genuine interest we strive to show each person individually.

We desire to excel in every area of our ministry, from food service preparation to facility management; from our recruitment program to the excitement in our activities; to safety training and hospitality services. To ensure the highest standards of integrity and excellence, the board, staff and other auditing organizations are working together to guarantee that we meet and exceed those standards that are recognized in the educational arena.
