Katherine's parents are separated and the whereabouts of her mother unknown. She was raised by her grandmother her physically abused her. She was also sexually abused by her Uncle. She was forced to quit school and sell gelatin in the market. She was then placed into the girls home, her brother into the boys home. She receives monthly visits from her grandmother. Her favorite hobby is playing basketball.
