What We Believe
The following are the key points
of our Declaration of Faith.
The Bible is God’s truth with no mixture of error; it is entirely inspired by God.
In the Triune God.
The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.
Jesus satisfied God’s wrath and fulfilled the requirement necessary for man’s salvation.
The blood atonement of Jesus Christ is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
Repentance is a change evidenced in at least three elements; a change of mind, the intellectual element; a change of heart, the emotional element; a change of will, the free-will element.
The process of salvation involves hearing the Word of truth, being convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit, and gaining the acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Savior.
As a result of salvation, the believer has eternal life and is released from the penalty of sins past, present, and future.
Jesus Christ will return because He promised that He would.
The next great event in biblical prophecy is the pre-Tribulation rapture of the universal body of Christ.
In a literal heaven and a literal hell. Anyone whose name will not be found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (all unbelievers) will spend an eternity in HELL with the devil. Believers will reside with Christ forever in HEAVEN.
Jesus left two ordinances for His church to keep, baptism (by immersion) and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is necessary for obedience but not for salvation. In order for a person to be baptized he/she must first be saved. The Lord’s Supper is an ongoing memorial in remembrance of our Lord, the elements (bread and juice) being symbolic of His broken body and shed blood.
