a Colorguard mini camp hosted by the Milton High School Band's Colorguard

BE A PART OF THE MILTON HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND HALFTIME!!

Milton High School's Marching Band's Color Guard is hosting an event this fall, a "mini camp" designed to expose students in Kindergarten through 8th grade to Color Guard. Color Guard is the "visual ensemble" that performs alongside and complements the marching band by spinning flags, rifles and sabers with precision dance and movement elements.

This event, called "Spin with the Eagles," provides elementary and middle school aged students an opportunity to try out Color Guard to see if this is an activity they may want to pursue during their middle school and high school careers.

For a nominal fee of $35, participants will receive instruction from Milton High's award winning Color Guard director and team during two October practices (October 17 & 18) after school, have dinner with the Milton High School Color Guard before the homecoming football game against South Forsyth High School on October 18th, march into the stadium with the Varsity Color Guard before the game, sit in the stands with the Varsity Color Guard at the game, receive a free t-shirt commemorating the event, and most importantly perform on the field with the Varsity Color Guard during halftime of this game. The deadline to register for the Spin with the Eagles event is Friday, October 4, 2019.
